I am a college admissions consultant, writer, editor, and more. I have been a college admissions counselor and tutor for many years, but I always update and adapt my practice to best fit the rapidly changing admissions process. I am also a member of the New Jersey Association of College Admissions Counselors (NJACAC). (To learn more about my profession, visit the Services page.)

As a writer, I have published over 30 books. I have written in several genres, including education, psychology, and humor. Many of my titles are part of the Idiot's Guide series. A number of my books have been published in foreign editions in Germany, Denmark, Norway, the Netherlands, Mexico, England, Italy, and Taiwan. My work has also appeared in periodicals such as Money Magazine, McCall's, Poets & Writers, The San Francisco Chronicle, The Chicago Tribune, and The Washington Examiner. I was featured in People Magazine, have appeared on Good Morning America and Today, and have been a three-time guest on Oprah. Additionally, I am a frequent speaker at major corporations (Smith Barney, American Standard, Wakefern), non-profit organizations (Traveler's Aid Society, Vista Hill), and health and fitness resorts (Rancho la Puerta) as well as high schools and bookstores across the country.
